We love being Grandma and Grandpa

Love the feeling of having all the grandkids around us!!



This was the kids favorite.  However, I see Ethan trying to hide, Ryan being more dignified and Tommy on the serious side also.  Kind of love the craziness of it!!

We all went to Lake Wilderness Park for the photos.  Rebecca and Jason did the photography.  The kids loved being in the park settng.   They were so good and patient while the picture-taking was being done.  Some of the little ones, mostly Matthew and Allie weren't sure they wanted to sit on Grandma and Grandpa's laps, but the photographers managed to get them both not crying!  I love that the pictures captures each personality.  Afterwards the kids all played together, running around the park, and on the playground.  I remember that the older children always included the younger ones.  Everyone just seemed happy.  It was heartwarming for this grandma and grandpa to witness it all.  I hope this is what heaven is like.

Lee Family Reunion August 2012

 We had our reunion August 1-4.  We were there August 2-4.  It was Jason's and Jenn's family's first time there.  There were fewer people there than at the last reunion which was my dad's last reunion. 



When we first got there they were doing children's activities.  Jenna was the first to jump right in doing the
obstacle course.

Okay, this was in the camera and I thought it was sooooo cute,  A letter to the tooth fairy from Jennibelle that she put under her pillow.  It says, "Dear Tooth Fairy,  It is OK if you take my tooth, but can I keep it?  It is my first tooth I lost it at Grandma's.  It may not (be) the whole part of the tooth."

The reunion was fun and kept us very busy.  The grandkids loved sleeping in the cabins, and cleaning the cabins.  Another big hit was riding the horses.  The little ones got to ride a horse with one of the parents or an adult guiding the horse with the reins.  The older ones got to actually take the horse down a trail.  They said they loved it, but had sore bums!  As usual, the Ensign Ranch is beautiful this time of the year and just looking out at the scenery was enjoyable.
